Ken Willard, Vince Rightley and Ruben Lopez Jr won the awards having been recognized by their students for their proven outstanding abilities in IT training delivery, including the use of course materials and labs. Furthermore, students said they would recommend their courses and praised their expertise and instructor presentation.
Last year, Willard also was recognized as a Top Quality Instructor of the Quarter. In addition to serving as a certified technical instructor, he is also a pre-sales consultant and a post-sales advisor to clients, helping customers apply technical concepts to obtain practical business results. Before joining ExitCertified in 2017, he worked in various tiers of the IT industry, including end customer, channel partner, distribution and manufacturing. His expertise covers the handling of projects from the startup phase to the mapping of business requirements and technical architectural plans. His credentials include certifications from AWS, Nutanix, VMware and ITIL.
Rightley has been a technical instructor for a decade and previously worked as a solution architect and project manager. In 2021, he was twice awarded with the Top Quality Instructor of the Quarter. His deep roots in training date back to his days teaching Introduction to Computers and Quantitative Analysis at Indiana University—Purdue University. His wide-ranging career has taken him from the help desk to roles in system administration, IT management, consulting and solution architecture. He became a VMware Certified Instructor in 2008 and has provided end-user, sales and technical sales training for the brand. In addition, he is a Nutanix Certified Professional.
Lopez, who also won a Top Quality Instructor of the Quarter last year, has been a technical instructor for 20 years and has worked as a lab manager and system administrator. As a professional educator and courseware designer, he delivers and develops technical training on all aspects of Fibre Channel, Fibre Channel over IP, FC routing, Ethernet/IP Networking, Converged Networks, and Cloud Services.
