This instructor-led training provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to install and configure a SmartZone appliance or virtual deployment using the SmartZone 5.2 release. It is the introductory course into SmartZone controllers and their relationship to a wireless environment. This course provides a significant amount of hands-on experience and discussion to help students become proficient with the features of SmartZone regardless of the type of SmartZone deployment. Topics include introduction to Ruckus technologies, SmartZone architecture, SmartZone Installation, Access Point registration, WLAN deployment, Client management and troubleshooting, maintenance and advanced settings. Students perform SmartZone management using SmartZone Graphical User Interface and SSH.
